General information

The Ultrasonic Drug Delivery (UDD) course will discuss the physics and applications in Ultrasonic Drug Delivery. Focus will be on research applications. By taking the course, the student will learn the basics of ultrasonic drug delivery physics and gain knowledge on how to apply it into practice.

The course will be lectured in English.

The lectures will be held in D115, Physicum, every Monday 14.15-16 and Friday 12.15-14.

The course assistant is Eetu Lampsijärvi (eetu.lampsijarvi@helsinki.fi). For questions about the lectures and teaching, please contact Heikki Nieminen (heikki.nieminen@helsinki.fi).

Evaluation

By passing the course you will obtain 5 credits.
Course evaluation is based on the following:

–Activity in class (weight 0.30)
–Excercises (0.30)
–Report (0.30)
–Presentation (0.10)

Each aspect is evaluated on a scale of 1-5 points.
The course is graded on a scale of 1-5 by exploiting the weight factors.

Workshops are mandatory (see course schedule). One may miss maximum of two lectures and one exercise.

There will be no final exam.

Exercises
